The Lexington Hotel
Adaptive Reuse 22nd Street and Michigan Avenue Chicago - IL The Al Capone’s Building with it’s empty vault, is the 10-story Lexington Hotel. It received a National Register and Chicago Landmark designation status, for its historic & architectural importance. The building was redesigned for the International Women’s Museum for the 1993 World’s Fair, which was canceled and the building demolished. Designed: 1987 Owner: Sunbow Foundation |
